qBittorrent is currently packaged in the Mageia official repositories. It is packaged by Ahmad Samir. To install it, make sure the online repositories are configured correctly then install it either:
qBittorrent is now available in official Ubuntu repositories since v9.04 "Jaunty". More up-to-date packages are published on our stable and unstable PPAs. The PPAs support the latest Ubuntu version and some of the previous ones.
Also, every piece of software available for download should publish a md5 hash or similar, so if you downloaded a whole Linux Distro, you can check if the download is good before you burn a DVD and try to install it.
No, as long as you are installing Lion on your own personal Macs, this is fine. Mac OS X Lion comes with a very generous personal license that allows you to install the OS on all of your personal Macs. This method just allows you to avoid downloading the entire package again.
You have 11A511. The App Store version is 11A494. Slightly older version for the older Macs. 11A511 components are downloaded during the install process. See my comment to your other post about option-clicking.
I lost my OSX SL CD. Can I buy and download Lion on my MacBook Air, make a usb-stick like this, and then do a clean install with it on my iMac? Or will this usb stick only be useable on the machine I made it?
you will be able to do an upgrade using this methodon your macs as long as they have core 2 duo ornewer intel processor 2gb of ram or more 8 + gb of harddrive space free I would recommend 40gb + free forbest performance and even though you have downloadedlion using a Mac other than you are installing it on the installerwill still insist you have to be running 10.6.6 or laterand will not proceed with the upgrade unless you are running10.6.6 or later
If you have the foresight to let Time Machine perform a full backup of your Mac before running the Lion installer (but after it has downloaded from the App Store) then you can skip re-downloading the 4Gb file. Just go to Time Machine, visit your Applications folder, find the TM backup with the Lion installer (Install Mac OS X Lion) and restore it. Ta-da! ;)
About that warning tho...the MAS assumes you're trying to download and install, not just download. Without a computer properly configured to follow thru with an actual install as part of that process, you're stuck.
I'm stuck in the same situation. I'm unable to find anywhere where I can get a legitimate copy of El Capitan or Sierra to run in Fusion. The Mac App Store refuses to vend me these old copies on my Mac. I can't believe Apple have chosen not to provide these via Apple Developer resources; these are an essential thing for macOS developers. I'm going to end up having to get these via a torrent at this rate.

There are several other ways to get Ubuntu including torrents, which can potentially mean a quicker download, our network installer for older systems and special configurations and links to our regional mirrors for our older (and newer) releases. If you don't specifically require any of these installers, we recommend using our standard downloads.
The network installer lets you install Ubuntu over a network. It includes the minimal set of packages needed to start and the rest of the packages are downloaded over the network. Since only current packages are downloaded, there is no need to upgrade packages immediately after installation.
BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer download network that sometimes enables higher download speeds and more reliable downloads of large files. You need a BitTorrent client on your computer to enable this download method.

I upgraded my iMac Late 2013 yesterday to BigSur. Everything went fine and it is working perfectly well. Now when trying to install the latest update (12.0.1), it is downloading, then rebooting and come back at the exact same step (ask to download Monterey and Install). Is there anything I need to do to make it work?
The weird thing is that the installer downloaded from here a few days ago, but the SHA256 sum is completely different. I have a hash sum of the file:SHA256 (Install_macOS_12.0-21A5534d.dmg) = e87d1ac8e8fe8a144ac40c8e5e35847a4e6e8459e6be0cffd09b82871ccaa941
